WHAT?
ONE OF A KIND: Through our social fashion label, KitePride, we create safe and sustainable jobs in South Africa, the Netherlands, and Romania for people vulnerable to exploitation. Proceeds from the sale of our one-of-a-kind products support glowbalact's job and integration programs.
HOW?
KIND TO THE ENVIRONMENT: Our nonprofit company (NPC) partners produce KitePride products using mainly locally sourced materials. We repurpose high-quality, used kitesurfing sails, parachutes, and tent material into one-of-a-kind products. This reduces waste and makes efficient use of resources.
WHY?
KIND TO OTHER PEOPLE: People living in poverty, refugees, and victims of human trafficking are particularly vulnerable to being exploited again. Together with our partners, we create fair jobs that give those affected new prospects and prevent exploitation.
